BASIC MAINTENANCE
Essential, recurring services that align with the requirements of annual and 100-hour inspections per 14 CFR Part 43, Appendix D. Aero Services helps ensure airworthiness through comprehensive evaluation of essential aircraft systems, structures, and key components.
Routine Inspections
Annual and 100-Hour Inspections: Conducted according to 14 CFR Part 43, Appendix D, covering all items specified for airframe, powerplant, and systems inspection, including airworthiness and operational checks, and, if desired, test flights.
Documentation Updates: Accurate and complete documentation of inspection findings, corrective actions, and certifications as required by 14 CFR § 43.9.
Oil and Filter Changes
Engine Oil and Filter Replacement: Routine oil and filter changes, often performed during inspections as per Part 43 Appendix D for lubrication and cleanliness of engine systems.
Leak Inspections: Inspection of oil lines and connections for leaks during oil changes, addressing findings as per AC 43.13-1B guidelines.
Component and Consumable Replacements
Replacement of Wear Items: Includes, but is not limited to, spark plugs, oil filters, and air filters.
Replacement of Tires, Tubes, and Brake Pads: Performed as necessary during inspections to maintain safe ground operations and effective braking, in compliance with Appendix D.
500-Hour Magneto Inspections
Magneto Disassembly and Inspection: Conducted at 500-hour intervals, including disassembly, inspection, cleaning, reassembly, and testing per manufacturer instructions.
FAA Compliance Checks
Airworthiness Directive (AD) Compliance: Verifying and documenting compliance with all applicable ADs relevant to the airframe, powerplant, and components.
Documentation
Maintenance Log Entries: All maintenance activities, inspection details, and corrective actions go in the logbook, meeting 14 CFR § 91.417 and § 43.9 requirements for comprehensive documentation.
